At Evolution Design, we understand the importance of time. To ensure we fit into your needed schedule, we encourage you to contact us a few months in advance. A deposit with signed paperwork or signed design contract, completed during selections, secures your spot on the installation calendar.

In addition to understanding your timeline we also want to learn about your financial parameters, lifestyle, and design aesthetic. The more information you can provide us the better we can build out your bid & direct you through your design process. Some of the best resources you can share with us include but are not limited to:

• Coordinating selections (paint, flooring, cabinets, backsplash, etc.)

Education & Selections

Knowledge is key to making informed decisions. Our experienced sales team doubles as knowledgeable project managers who will guide you through the design and selection process. We have been providing Cache Valley, and the surrounding area, with quality stone countertops for over 23 years. Those years of stone knowledge are available at your disposal to ensure you are getting both the look and functionality that you and your family’s lifestyle demands. Stone options are endless; it’s nice to have so many possibilities, but it can get overwhelming! With questions from how well materials resist heat and stains, whether they need sealing or not, to how scratch or etch resistant they are our project managers will help you navigate the world of natural stone to make sure you have all the information you need to confidently make an educated decision on such an important feature in your home.

Scheduling – Sign Paperwork & Pay Deposit

Once selections are complete, we will provide you with the final work order to review and approve ensuring we have all the details of your project perfect before anything goes into production. If a 50% deposit has not been made it will also need to be completed at this time. We accept check, cash or credit card payments. (There is a 3.5% fee with any card transaction). Paperwork and deposit need to be completed no less than 3 weeks before we come to template. Delays at this step in the process can result in installation delays.

Template

This step is critically important to us as the precise fit is foundational to providing the highest quality finished product. We use state of the art laser technology to create the measurements and file you will eventually see at the layout phase. Our aim is to template on site the week after cabinet installation. If you are not getting new cabinets the existing tops need to be removed before we come on site to template. This step’s timing relies on job site readiness and continuous communication with your project manager. Changes to cabinets after template will result in incorrect fit & will need to be re-templated.

Digital Rendering – Layout

Everyone knows a picture is worth a thousand worlds, and we have a lot to say! After templating, you’ll receive a digital rendering of your countertops. This detailed representation, created with a high-definition photo of your exact slab, allows you to approve material usage, orientation, seam placement, and all other selections.

Install

Approximately 2-3 weeks after your layout is approved, our professional installers will bring your vision to life! You can expect polite respectful installers in your home who pay meticulous attention to detail. For kitchen projects, in addition to your stunning new countertops we will also provide you with a stone cutting board, our EvoOxy cleaner, and a care sheet with information on how to care for your new countertops.
